Minutes of Commission meeting held on April 24, 2007.

Present: Mary vandenBerg, Chairperson, Patricia Caron, Rolf Hilbig and Kathleen McGrory. Absent: Steven Anderstrom, Howard Fife and James Wettlaufer.
7:00 p.m. Chairperson called the meeting to order.
7:05 p.m. Minutes of Commission Meeting held on April 10, 2007 were read and accepted and will be distributed.
No Meeting on April 17, 2007 due to Town Caucus.
7:10 p.m. We received a letter from Andrew Harhay of addressStreet29 Pine Tree Dr. requesting that the treatment of the Holland Reservoir for nuisance aquatic vegetation being planned for June/July include the cove near the intersection of addressStreetArdmore Rd. and addressStreetShore Dr. in this year’s maintenance program. Mary vandenBerg, Chairperson made a motion that Lycott Engineering be called regarding this request. All were in favor of accepting the motion.
7:30 p.m. The continued Public Hearing for Robert Terwilliger of addressStreet49/51 Sandy Beach Rd. was presented by
Mark Farrell of Greenhill Engineering. No abutters came. The well location is still unresolved. The Public Hearing has been continued to May 8, 2007 at 7:30 p.m.
Members signed the Certificate of Compliance for Clarence Soper of addressStreetSturbridge Rd., DEP File #184-197.
Joel Jette, builder, brought in a receipt of the recorded Order of Conditions from the Hamden Registry of Deeds for his project at 28 Hamilton Dr., DEP File #184-0215. Owner Richard Chapin was not present. Mary vandenBerg signed the Procedure Sheet #2005-1155.
Mary vandenBerg received a complaint regarding the Cromack project on addressStreet32-34 Lake Shore Dr. No silt fence was in place and dirt was washed into the lake by last week’s rain. Mary vandenBerg made a motion that Agent Howard Fife investigate. All were in favor of accepting the motion.
Motion to adjourn was made, seconded and approved by all. Meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
